Birthdays and Charters

You can have your own private train ride!

Chartered Trains for Birthdays and other Celebrations  are available by special request. We can run the train on any day of the week of any Month at your convienience. Corporate outings and school field trips also welcome.

Charter fares are the same as regular fares but with a $300 minimum guarantee paid in advance.Your chartered train can accomodate up to 250 guests.Total fare is calculated at regular rates and applied at the time of your trip - any amount over $300 collected before the train ride.Two weeks notice is required for charters to guarantee availability of a full train crew.

Private Birthday Cars  are also available by special request.

Birthdays celebrated on Saturday or Sunday May 15 through October 30 can charter a private railcar on our regularly scheduled train (not special events) with two weeks notice and a minimum of $150 paid in advance.Your reserved passenger car can hold up to 70 friends and family.Total fare is calculated at regular rates and applied at the time of your trip - any amount over $150 collected that day.

Birthday Party in the Caboose is an economical way to have your small party of up to 10 people at the Bluegrass Railroad.

You can party in the Caboose for two hours for $50.00. This does not include a train ride but does include entrance to the museum, train layout, and gift shop. You can decorate the caboose and serve snacks if you agree to clean up after.
